Hydraulic Power Pack

Aerospace Turbine Rotables, Inc. is the industry leader when it comes to power packs for Cessna, Piper and other retractable general aviation aircraft.  Aerospace Turbine Rotables recently announced the enhanced overhaul process for the Prestolite Power Pack, one of the most ubiquitous hydraulic power packs in thousands of general aviation aircraft.  Aerospace Turbine Rotables, as the OEM for the Prestolite Power Pack for Aviation, used their decades of experience to develop an extensive overhaul and testing process that will ensure reliable operation for this component for many years.

The overhaul includes replacement of the armature and field coils of the motor, valves, springs, gaskets, O-rings, pressure adjusting screws, and eyelets with 100% new components. Each motor goes through extensive qualification analysis. All other components are inspected for wear or damage and replaced as necessary. All the replaced components have been manufactured to the original engineering specifications except for the valve body. Aerospace Turbine Rotables has developed new valve body castings using 21st century manufacturing standards, including updated engineering with stricter tolerances, drastically improving the reliability of the power packs. Aerospace Turbine Rotables is the only manufacturer of the valve bodies and gear cases.
